From Farm Life to Premium Pet Care

Growing up on a farm surrounded by animals, I learned early that our pets aren't just companions—they're family. Whether it was caring for newborn calves at dawn or watching our farm dogs protect the livestock, I developed a deep connection with animals that has stayed with me my entire life.

PawsSelect was founded on a simple belief: pets deserve quality products that are genuinely safe and carefully selected by people who understand their needs.

The Inspiration Behind PawsSelect

The idea for PawsSelect came from a deeply personal place. My senior dog, Brutus, is now 10 years old. Over the years, I’ve watched him slow down, develop new sensitivities, and require increasingly thoughtful care. Finding products that truly met his needs — products that would keep him comfortable, healthy, happy, and help him live as long as possible — became a mission in itself.

Then I welcomed Micky, a young, energetic puppy who brought new life into our home. Suddenly, I was navigating two entirely different worlds: senior care and puppy development.

Brutus, with his history of hip and back injuries from a life of constant activity, needs joint support and gentle care. Micky, discovering the world with fresh eyes and boundless curiosity, needs products that support his growing body, satisfy his teething needs, and fuel his endless appetite.

What works for one doesn't work for the other. Micky thrives on engaging treats and stimulating toys. Brutus, who's never been food-motivated, requires carefully selected supplements, vitamins, and comfort-focused products to maintain his quality of life.

Then there’s Mystic, my two-year-old cat. When he was just six months old, he developed urinary problems and required extra care, which completely changed the way I looked at his treatment. I had to rethink everything: better food, natural litter, and new ways to keep him properly hydrated on a regular basis.

Mystic reminds me every day that quality is not negotiable. Whether it’s dogs or cats, young or old, every pet deserves products that truly work for them. Each pet is unique, but all of them need quality products to ensure a good quality of life.
